As you may have already noticed, at the immediate moment you cannot currently find your images... or modify them... or even log in. In fact, this is the only page that you can see right now, as everything else 404s.
Allow me to explain.

WSI IS NOT GOING AWAY.Now that we have cleared that up..
If you have been a long time user of WSI, you'll note that the features and overall capability of WSI have not changed in quite some time. In fact, WSI hasn't changed at all in about a year. Thats right... 1 year. This is disappointing to me, as I had more faith in myself as a maintainer of this project.
The problem is that things came in the way... one after another, and there was just not enough time in a 24 hour day to get everything I needed to get done... done. I need a paycheck, I need to live, and I need a drink every so often. On top of that, family issues (medical and personal otherwise) contribute to stress and required efforts elsewhere, thus contributing further to the overall scope of issues that were experienced.
Basically, I've gotten sick of waiting for WSI to update itself... metaphorically speaking. Because of that, I am forcing myself into a situation where no matter what I have to get it up and running again.
The reason that I have taken this route, is because today I spent 8+ hours trying to get it up and running on a new server (the old one, the one it is on, is coming down). In that 8 hours, I was wholley unsuccessful. It is a beast, with its database, cronjobs, and other requirements... it does not play well when moved. Due to this, I don't have a choice - I have to fix it. The server comes down tonight, regardless of my wishes. I can't afford to keep both of the servers up and running (sorry, not rich ^.^).
To answer your immediate question, you will still have your images. I will be setting it up so that only images return, no new images or users can be created, and no modifications to the images can be done. I call this "Read Only Mode" as it has been used in many other places of yore.
This will be set up within 24 hours of this message being distributed.
Starting on Friday (I have a 4 day weekend coming up), I will be dedicating all of my time to WSI.
At the end of this coding binge, you will have three things:
I say these three things, because in its current iteration I don't believe that WSI is actually useful or working in any fashion. It is nice, its got the ability to function, but functionality and accomplishing its goal are two different things.
I will post up messages on the site as time moves on.
Furthermore... there may be a dedicated domain coming up for it, so watch out. I'd like to entertain some suggestions on this, so let me know if you have anything that sounds cool or that you'd like to see.
